The producer says, "The film is based on "Parusavedi'(a trick which makes iron as gold) concept in its backdrop. At the same time, it has several elements like suspense and comedy too. The film "Putrudu" is not only directed in telugu but also Hindhi and Tamil.. This film is being released as "Viswa' in Hindi, "Arudran" in Tamil.
